The Georges range: a tribute to tradition and innovation
The Georges range is part of Tarrerias-Bonjean's premium forged knives, alongside the Maestro and Brigade ranges. These collections share similar technical characteristics, offering exceptional quality. Forged in martensitic steels, the Georges range benefits from a stainless alloy enriched with carbon, allowing a tempering that ensures a hardness of 54 to 56 HRC. This technical composition gives these knives a robustness and performance that will satisfy the most demanding.
A family tribute: the name Georges
What makes this range even more special is its name. Georges was the first name of the father of the TB team, who passed away about twenty years ago. In homage to this family heritage, Tarrerias-Bonjean decided to name some of its emblematic ranges with the first names of the family's grandfathers, including Georges, Auguste, Louis, and Hector. It is a nod to generations of cutlers who have marked the history of the brand, perpetuating a unique know-how throughout the centuries.
Quality materials for everyday use
The knives in the Georges range are made with wooden or polyacetal (POM) handles, a strong and durable material. The polyacetal versions, in particular, are designed for easy maintenance: water-resistant, they can be put in the dishwasher without risk of deterioration. While wooden handles provide a refined aesthetic and a pleasant feel, POM handles are perfect for practical use and simplified maintenance.
A complete range for all occasions
The Georges range includes a variety of models, sold individually or in a block of five pieces. The block contains a santoku, a chef's knife, a 17 cm kitchen knife, a bread knife, a paring knife and a utility knife. This wooden block, matching the wooden handles of the knives, is equipped with an ingenious storage system. It allows the knives to be positioned in any direction while protecting their edges, which is essential for preserving the durability of the blades.
Know-how at the service of sustainability
All materials used in the manufacturing of Georges knives are selected for their premium quality and their ability to be recycled under good conditions. This is a sustainable approach that reflects Tarrerias-Bonjean's commitment to quality products that respect the environment.
